Introduction
Stainless steel Inlet pipes are important components of the engine Inlet system. Our stainless steel Inlet pipes are made of high-quality stainless steel materials. The core advantage lies in their outstanding durability. Our stainless steel Inlet pipes have extremely strong anti-corrosion, high-temperature resistance, and high-pressure resistance performance, effectively coping with the harsh environment in the engine compartment.
Material advantages of stainless steel Inlet pipes:
1. Our stainless steel Inlet pipes have excellent corrosion resistance: they can resist erosion from water, water vapor, fuel vapor, salt, and various chemicals, fundamentally avoiding the rusting problem of iron pipes and having an extremely long service life.
2. High strength and durability: our stainless steel Inlet pipes have high mechanical strength, can withstand high internal pressure, vacuum negative pressure, and external impact and vibration, and are not prone to deformation or rupture.
3. Excellent thermal stability: our stainless steel Inlet pipes can maintain their performance within a wide temperature range, withstand the high-temperature environment of the engine compartment, and will not soften or degrade due to high temperatures.
4. Smooth inner walls of our stainless steel Inlet pipes: the inner walls of stainless steel pipes are usually polished to a very high surface finish, which can greatly reduce the frictional resistance of fluid (air, gas, liquid) flow, reduce turbulence, and improve flow efficiency.

Manufacturing process and structural design
The outstanding performance of stainless steel Inlet pipes is not only attributed to the material, but also closely related to its precise manufacturing process and design.
1. Sol-Gel Manufacturing Process: Our stainless steel Inlet pipes are made using the most advanced sol-gel manufacturing process. During the production process, due to the excellent properties of the material, the particle size is controllable and evenly distributed, resulting in higher precision stainless steel Inlet pipes. At the same time, high stability and high purity greatly improve the yield, qualification rate, and performance of the stainless steel Inlet pipes.
2. Polishing Treatment: Our factory can provide various polishing processes, and both the inner and outer walls of the stainless steel Inlet pipes can be mechanically or electrolytically polished to achieve a mirror-like finish, further reducing flow resistance and making them easier to clean.
3. CNC Machining: Interfaces, flanges, and other parts are usually precisely machined using computer numerical control (CNC) machines to ensure a perfect fit with connection components such as turbochargers, throttle bodies, and intercoolers, eliminating air leakage.
4 Customized Design: Our factory offers reasonable personalized and customized design services. In the field of modification, stainless steel pipes can be fully customized according to the layout of the engine compartment, optimizing the pipe routing, reducing unnecessary bends, and achieving maximum performance.
The types of stainless steel available for selection
Stainless steel is not a single metal but a general term for a series of iron-based alloys. Its core characteristics stem from a chromium content of at least 10.5%. Chromium reacts with oxygen to form a very thin, strong and stable chromium-rich oxide film (passivation film) on the surface. This film gives stainless steel the properties of "non-rusting" and "corrosion resistance". It can work smoothly in the extremely harsh environment inside an engine. Our stainless steel Inlet pipes have different types of stainless steel models, mainly including the following types:
1. Generally, we choose 304 stainless steel for our stainless steel Inlet pipes. It is the most common austenitic stainless steel, also known as 18/8 stainless steel (containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel). It has excellent corrosion resistance, formability and toughness, and is suitable for most general corrosive environments, such as air, water vapor and various chemical media. Our stainless steel Inlet pipes can work well inside the engine and are the most common material choice for Inlet pipes.
2. 304L stainless steel: A low-carbon version of 304, it is more resistant to intergranular corrosion and is particularly suitable for welded parts, as no annealing treatment is required after welding. This meets the process requirements of some other vehicles and some customers' special requirements for stainless steel Inlet pipes.
3. 316/316L stainless steel: This type of stainless steel in our factory has added molybdenum, making its resistance to chloride corrosion far superior to the 304 series, and it has extremely strong resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It is suitable for marine environments or industrial environments containing chloride ions (such as vehicles in coastal areas).
4. 409 stainless steel: A low-cost ferritic stainless steel with a lower chromium content, its corrosion resistance is not as good as the 300 series, but it has better heat resistance. It is commonly used in automotive exhaust systems and is less frequently used in stainless steel Inlet pipes.
Main Application Areas
1. Automotive Performance Modification: This is the most widespread application area for our stainless steel Inlet pipes. Modification enthusiasts use them to replace the original rubber hoses to cope with the high boost pressure generated after upgrading the ECU and turbocharger, and to unleash the potential power.
2. High-Performance Racing: In track and rally races, reliability is of utmost importance. Stainless steel Inlet pipes can withstand extreme conditions and are standard equipment for racing cars.
3. Heavy Machinery and Commercial Vehicles: Excavators, trucks, ship engines, etc., operate in harsh environments for long periods, and have extremely high requirements for component durability. Stainless steel Inlet pipes are key to ensuring their long-term stable operation.
4. Industrial Fluid Systems: In industries such as chemical engineering, food processing, and pharmaceuticals, where high-purity or corrosive gases/air need to be transported, 316L and other high-grade stainless steel Inlet pipes are the preferred choice to ensure the purity of the medium and the safety of the system.
